The software is clearly pretty old judging from it's "Windows XP" aesthetics, but it ran fine on both my desktop and laptop, both of which are running Windows 10, and takes up a pittance of ram- I expect even a cheap netbook could run this without any problem. You need the included software that comes with it to use it though, as the computers I have had no idea what to do with the device when it was plugged in prior to the software installation. I used both the RCA and S-Video connections, and they all worked fine. What you see is very much what you get- a USB dongle that connects to your PC, and then over to whatever it is you want to connect it to. Simple device that produces surprisingly good results
